1824-2024 : Bicentenary of the birth of our Founders

In the year 2024, we commemorate the bicentenary of the birth of the two Founders of the Congrégation des Petites Soeurs de l’Assomption. 200 years of life, hope, faith and charity… Such is the celebration of the arrival in the world of Etienne Pernet and Antoinette Fage, Founders of our Congregation. We are filled with joy and gratitude for their lives!

As we recall the two hundred years since their birth, we see the signs of their presence scattered like seeds of life among communities, missionary projects, encounters and the many close ties forged wherever the charism has been present. To inaugurate this bicentenary and enter fully into the event, we share with you this video, which traces some aspects of the story of Etienne Pernet and Antoinette Fage and shows how they continue to inspire our missionary commitment in today’s world.
