Our mission
The Congregation of the Little Sisters of the Assumption was founded in 1865 in France, at the beginning of industrialization, by Fr Etienne PERNET, Assumptionist, and Antoinette FAGE with the aim of “procuring the Glory of God by the salvation of the poor and little ones”.
OUR MISSION IN IMAGESPROJECTS BANKSOLIDARITY
He is the human face of God. By his incarnation he set out ona path of solidarity with all of humanity. To contemplate his life from his birth in Bethlehem, his life in Nazareth, his passing through Galilee to the cross, is to contemplate a God of such tenderness for those considered to be unimportant that he came to identify himself with them, to share their fate., He is the one whom we Little Sisters bear engraved in our hearts since the foundation of the Congregation
JUSTICE – PEACE-INTEGRITY OF CREATION
A vision of the world, a way of living in it.
Together with other Christians, with men and women of good will, we strive for effective solidarity and integrity of creation to contribute to the realization of a just and peaceful world.
RECIPROCITY
Our mission leads us in popular circles, towards the excluded, the voiceless, the displaced, attentive to the causes of family disintegration, especially among young people and women in difficulty.
COMMUNITY
In community, in the moments of community prayer, we meet around the Word of God and are sure of his love, we seek to transmit the joy that he gives us. Mary, in her Assumption, strengthens our hope.
